you are my saving grace

another week has come and gone.
the HIGHLIGHTS?
tuesday definitely! dinner at docklands to celebrate hong, stef and charles's birthdays all in one. we went to blue fire for Churrascaria - which is a yummy brazilian bbq.. neverending meat which is good for our bunch lol.
then we sat down at that same ol' docklands pier. hmmm. i don't know why, but sometimes i feel like the serenity and peace of the place is disrupted by too many people. still, it was nice to share it with people i love.
ran for marketing officer in the ILA with simon. we're up against people who are lots more experienced! it'll be good if we get it, if not, i don't mind either. it was a thought in passing to get more involved.
AA ball was good fun to meet up with high school people again.

ok screw this. the real reason i wanted to blog was to write about the best parts of the week. it wasn't the ball and it wasn't the birthday party.

the real highlight of my week was waking up this morning to find something under my pillow. it was like freaking christmas day or something - no wait, i felt like the tooth fairy visited. ABSOLUTE BLISS :D in fact i think that's probably why even though i woke up at 8 and ordinarily would've gone back to sleep i managed to keep awake for abit more.

and today something else made me rejoice.
it may sound stupid, but it was charles guessing my favourite line in every song we heard.
the best thing is, he got so many right.

it's a wonderful wonderful feeling, when someone knows you.
